Congratulations on the purchase of your new bicycle, and welcome to the Cannondale family!
You may have noticed a strange-looking sticker on your new bike's frame. It shows something called a quick response code, or QR code, and it’s part of an incredibly easy system we use for connecting your bike to your life and letting you register your bike with just one click. How does it work? It’s simple:
- Open the camera app on your smartphone and point it at the QR code on the sticker (there’s no need to take a picture – it reads it automatically).
- Click on the link that pops up on your phone’s screen.
- Add in the appropriate information where prompted – and that’s it!
If you are already a Cannondale App user, the link will open the Cannondale App and begin the process of adding this bike to your Garage. If you are not a Cannondale App user, the link will open your web browser and begin the registration process there.
Curious to try our app? We strongly recommend it! Digitally access your bike’s user manual, look up model info, track your rides, find a bike shop, and much more.
If the QR code is not successful at finding your bike, you may be asked to enter your serial number manually. The serial number of your bike is located on the underside of the frame near the cranks, on or near an area called the bottom bracket (or BB). This is the official serial number of your bike, so if the sticker on the top tube does not match for some reason, please use this number.
To activate your ride using the warranty card, the process is similar.
- Open the camera app on your smartphone and point it at the QR code on the card (there’s no need to take a picture – it reads it automatically).
- Click on the link that pops up on your phone’s screen.
- Add in the appropriate information where prompted.
