If you’re riding one of our Bosch-powered Cannondale e-bikes, you might be wondering whether your bike can benefit from the latest Bosch Performance Line CX motor update to increase the power of your e-bike — and we’ve got the answers!
The following models are compatible with the Bosch CX update:
• 2025 Moterra Carbon
• 2025 Moterra LT
• 2025 Moterra Alloy (models 3, 4, +4, and EQ)
• 2025 Mavaro (models 1 and 2)
• 2025 Tesoro (models 1, 2 and Automatiq)
These bikes feature the Bosch Performance Line CX smart system motor (BDU384Y), which supports Bosch’s latest software update giving your ride even more power and responsiveness.
What’s included in the update?
Bosch’s free update brings some exciting performance boosts:
- Power: Up to 750 W (from 600 W)
- Torque: Up to 100 Nm (from 85 Nm)*
- Support: Up to 400% rider input (from 340%)
* the bikes with an Enviolo hub will be limited to 90NM for durability
Plus, there’s a new eMTB+ mode for even smoother and more dynamic off-road riding.
Compatible bikes have this update ready and waiting in the Bosch eBike Flow app:
- Open the Bosch eBike Flow app
- Connect your bike
- Go to Settings > Your eBike > Components
- Look for the motor type and software version
