If the Cannondale App has multiple rides saved or imported with overlapping dates and times, the overlapping rides will be combined into a single ride.
This might happen if a ride saved in the Cannondale App that was recorded by your Wheel Sensor, Start/End, Strava, Garmin, or Apple Health ride have overlapping times. In the Cannondale App, we call these Ride Sources.
To see what Ride Sources are available for a ride saved in the Cannondale App, go to your Activity page and tap on a ride.
At the bottom of the screen you will see Ride Source. One or multiple icons will show you from which source the ride data is available.
By tapping an icon in Ride Source, you will be brought to the Edit My Ride screen. Here you will be able to choose a different source if it’s available.
Choosing a new Ride Source updates the data recorded for the ride based on the data we received from that Ride Source.
To save a ride using the data from a different Ride Source, choose the desired Ride Source in the Edit My Ride screen and Save the ride.
You can undo these changes by returning to the Edit My Ride screen, changing your Ride Source and tapping “Save Ride”.
If you are unhappy with the data from the Ride Sources, you can tap Enable Manual Editing to Edit and then Save your ride with manually entered data (Move time, Distance, Ascent, Start time).
The active Ride Source icon for a ride will have a black outline in the Ride Source section in the Edit My Ride screen.
If you are expecting a ride to combine but it does not, check the Bike that is assigned to the ride. Overlapping rides that have different Bikes will not combine. If you edit the bikes to match, then the ride will be combined into one.
